One of the premier blues festivals in the world, King Biscuit is a multi-day festival founded in 1986 and features the top blues acts on the circuit each year.

Produced by the National Council for the Traditional Arts, the National Folk Festival is the nation’s longest-running traditional arts event, a FREE, three-day outdoor multicultural celebration of music, dance, and traditional arts and culture. This three-year installment of this vibrant festival and is the first time that the festival has been presented in Mississippi or the Deep South. The festival boundaries are Mississippi Street at the north, Pascagoula Street at the south, State Street at the east, and Farish Street at the west.
